"I Won't Give Up" is a song by American singer-songwriter Jason Mraz. It was released as the first official single from his fourth studio album, Love Is a Four Letter Word on January 3, 2012 via iTunes. It was written by Mraz and Michael Natter, and produced by Joe Chiccarelli. 

The acoustic folk ballad was written during his activist outings, and talks about not giving up on loving someone, or loving myself, or giving up on whatever our dreams are. It received mostly positive reviews from music critics, who agreed that the song is straightforward, emotional and inspiring.

The song was also a success on the charts, debuting at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming his second top-ten single, after "I'm Yours" (2008). Internationally, the song achieved large success, reaching top-ten positions in Ireland and Netherlands, while reaching top-twenty positions in Austria, Canada, UK and more.

There are two versions: a demo version sung by Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore and the final version sung by Hugh Grant and Haley Bennett. It was used as the love theme in the film, much of whose plot revolves around the writing and arranging of the song. The song "Young Love" by the band Mystery Jets featuring Laura Marling features a chorus which has been claimed to be a note-for-note copy of "Way Back into Love".

It stars Adam Sandler as a wedding singer in the 1980s and Drew Barrymore as a waitress with whom he falls in love. The film was later adapted into a stage musical with the same title, debuting on Broadway in April 2006 and closing on New Year's Eve of that same year. "Dance with My Father" is the title track to singer-songwriter LutherbVandross’ thirteenth studio album, With Richard Marx Vandross wrote the song based on his personal experience. Its poignant lyrics recall childhood memories with Vandross' father, who used to dance with his mother.

 Despite the lack of promotion due in part to Vandross' hospitalization, "Dance with My Father" became one of the most requested songs at the time. During the 2004 Grammy Awards, "Dance with My Father" earned Vandross the Song of the Year and Best Male R&B Vocal Performance accolades.

"Fall for You" is a song by Secondhand Serenade, the solo project of John Vesely. It was the first single from Secondhand Serenade's second studio album A Twist in My Story. The single was released as a digital downloadon January 21, 2008. A music video was released a week after the single was released. The video was shown on MTV's TRL. It features John Vesely playing the piano and performing the song intercut with footage of Vesely with a woman. They seem to be happily in love until he appears to show some insecurity, making her think he doesn't love her when he really does. This results in a fight breaking out between the two of them resulting in her wanting to leave. In the end, however, she comes back to him. It appears to be a love/hate relationship, hence the lyrics 'fall for you over again. (Wikipedia)

"I'm Yours" was nominated forGrammy Awards for Song of the Year and Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at the 51st Grammy Awards. It was also used for the Australian Seven Network’s promotion of the season premiere of Packed to the Rafters.

 "I'm Yours" was immensely successful in the U.S. on the Billboard charts. At 76 weeks on the Hot 100, it holds the record for most weeks spent on the chart, breaking the previous record of 69 weeks set by LeAnn Rimes’ song “How Do I Live” in 1998. It is as of January 2012 the eighth best selling digital song of all time in the U.S. selling over 6 million downloads  and 9.5 million worldwide. It remains Mraz's biggest hit single in the USA. Mraz sang a version of the song on Sesame Street, instead of "I'm Yours" the song was titled, "Outdoors." Mraz also made a remixed version featuring Lil Wayne and Jah Cure, which also gained success.

"You Belong with Me" is a country pop song performed by American recording artist Taylor Swift. The song was co-written by Swift and Liz Rose and produced by Nathan Chapman with Swift's aid. It was released on April 21, 2009, by Big Machine Records as the third single from Swift's second studio album, Fearless (2008). Swift was inspired to write "You Belong with Me" after overhearing a male friend of hers arguing with his girlfriend through a phone call; she continued to develop a story line afterward. The song contains many pop music elements and its lyrics have Swift desiring an out-of-reach love interest.
The song's accompanying music video was directed by Roman White. The video featured Swift portraying two characters, a nerd (the protagonist and narrator) and a popular girl (the antagonist and girlfriend), while American actor Lucas Till portrayed the male lead. The video's plot centers on the protagonist secretively loving the male lead, although he has a girlfriend. The video won the MTV Video Award for Best Female Video at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, but during Swift's acceptance speech, rapper Kanye West  interrupted, protesting in support of Beyonce Knowles. The incident caused a reaction in the media, with most people coming to Swift's defense. The song was performed live at numerous venues, including the 2009–10 Fearless Tour, where it was the opening number. It was covered by various artists, including Butch Walker and Selena Gomez & the Scene, and parodied by “Weird Al” Yankovic.

Yiruma is the stage name of Lee Ru-ma (born February 15, 1978), an internationally-known pianist and composer from South Korea. Yiruma frequently performs at sold-out concerts in Asia, Europe and North America. His alma mater, King's College London, England helped him gain European popularity and recognition. Among his most popular pieces are "River Flows in You", "Kiss the Rain" and "May Be". Yiruma's most popular album, First Love was released in 2001.

He began playing the piano at the age of five and moved to London when he was eleven, in 1988, to study at The Purcell School of Music. He held dual citizenship, South Korean and British, until 2006, when he gave up his UK citizenship to serve in the South Korean Navy.
