When You Wish Upon A Star Sheet Music



"When You Wish Upon A Star" is a song written by Leigh Harline and Ned Washington for Walt Disney's 1940 adaptation of Pinocchio. The original version was sung by Cliff Edwards in the character of Jiminy Cricket, and is heard over the opening credits and in the final scene of the film. The song has since become the representative song of The Walt Disney Company. The recording by Cliff Edwards and Chorus was released by Victor Records as catalogue number 26477A (in USA) and by EMI on the His Master's Voice Label as catalogue number BD 821.

Enchanted Songbook



Enchanted is the soundtrack of the film of the same name. It was released on November 20, 2007 by Walt Disney Records and contains 15 audio tracks, including five original songs used in the film as well as the film's score. Orchestrated by Kevin Kliesch, Danny Troob and Blake Neely, the songs and score were conducted by Michael Kosarin and performed by the Hollywood Studio Symphony. Although "Ever Ever After" was not released as a single, a music video of the song was made and is included on the CD.

It contains the main themes for the Shire and the Hobbits, and is intended to evoke feelings of peace. It is also the title of one of the sections of the prologue to The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien. Although the tin whistle and violin both have solos and have the main melodies throughout the piece, it is also noted for Shore's distinctive use of the bodhrán to create a heartbeat-like sound.

"In Dreams" is a song by Howard Shore, with lyrics by Fran Walsh, originally written for the motion picture The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. In the movie, it was sung by the boy soprano Edward Ross.[1] Since then, it has been arranged for many occasions, including a full symphonic version arranged by Kurt Bestor and sung by Ryan Tani and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. The last lines pay homage to There and Back Again, an alternate title for Lord of the Rings author J. R. R. Tolkien's earlier book The Hobbit, which precedes and sets the background for the main story that has been adapted into major motion pictures.

"Be Like That" is the title of a song recorded by the American post-grunge band 3 Doors Down. It was released in June 2001 as the fourth single from the album, The Better Life. It peaked at #24 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the U.S. for the week ending November 10, 2001. A version of the song with minor lyrical changes was made, for the movie American Pie 2, and was featured on the movie's soundtrack.

Against All Odds is the soundtrack for the 1984 film Against All Odds. The album includes the original score by Larry Carlton, as well as several tracks by artists popular at the time of the film's release. Best known of the tracks is "Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)", a Phil Collins single which topped the Billboard Hot 100 song chart and became Collins's first American number one song. It gave him a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Male and another nomination for Song of the Year. The song received an Acedemy Award nomination for Best Original Song as well as an Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Original Song.

Schindler's List is the original soundtrack, on the MCA label, of the 1993 film Schindler's List starring Liam Neeson, Ben Kingsley, Ralph Fiennes and Caroline Goodall. The original score and songs were composed by John Williams, and features violin player Itzhak Perlman. The album won the Academy Award and the BAFTA Award for "Best Original Score" and the Grammy Award for "Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media". It was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award.
